Virtual Tour for The Innovation Hub – Pretoria

We were commissioned by The Innovation Hub to create a comprehensive virtual tour of their facilities in Pretoria, South Africa.

The Innovation Hub is the innovation agency of the Gauteng Province and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency. It was established by the Gauteng Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development to promote economic development, competitiveness, and innovation through entrepreneurship in Gauteng.

Full Virtual Tour Experience

The complete virtual tour, covering all facilities within The Innovation Hub, can be viewed below:

360° Drone Capture – Innovation Hub

We also utilized drone-based 360° video technology to capture aerial perspectives of the Innovation Hub environment.

Drone Photography and Virtual Tours

Aerial 360° Video Footage

Below is raw aerial 360° footage captured during the drone flyover of the Innovation Hub precinct:

This footage formed part of the broader post-production pipeline and contributed to the final immersive virtual tour experience.

Virtual Tour and Innovation Development

The project demonstrates how virtual tours and immersive media can be used to:

  • Showcase large innovation campuses
  • Support government and economic development initiatives
  • Provide remote access to facilities and infrastructure
  • Enhance transparency and public engagement
  • Combine aerial drone footage with interactive VR environments

Virtual tours continue to play a key role in how institutions present physical spaces in a digital-first environment.
